St. Joseph's College Of Engineering

The Jeppiaar Educational Trust aims at imparting technical education to the aspiring youth of India. St.Joseph's College Of Engineering under the aegis of Jeppiaar educational trust was instituted in the year 1994 in accordance with the general policy of government of Tamilnadu. It gives high priority to Technical Education in order to meet the growing demands of trained engineers to various industrial and development projects in Tamil nadu and the rest of India.

The scholarship amount awarded is based on merit which is as follows:

   1. Students who secure above 90% marks is awarded Rs.50,000.
   2. Students who secure 89-90% marks is awarded Rs.35,000.
   3. Students who secure 86-88% marks is awarded Rs.30,000.
   4. Students who secure 83-85% marks is awarded Rs.25,000.

Apart from these scholarships on Convocation Day, the University Rank holders are awarded cash prize which is as follows:

1. Gold Medalists : Rs.50,000 each with a shield.

2. Silver Medalists : Rs.25,000 each with a shield.

3. All other Rank holders Rs.10,000 each with a shield.
