Profile

Department of Chemical Engineering came into existence in the year 1994 with the B.Tech programme in Chemical Engineering. The Department has a highly qualified and experienced faculty and staff and has modern infrastructural facilities. The Department is engaged in teaching and research in the areas of Chemical Engineering and related areas. All the faculty members possess post graduate / Ph.D. qualifications, four faculty members are pursuing their Ph.D.

Approval for M.Tech in Chemical Engineering was obtained in the year 2003. The Department was accredited B Grade for three years in the year of 2002 by the National Board of Accreditation.
